Can we take phone orders on card?
Yes. Card-not-present taking can be enabled for telephone orders, with the usual verification steps. Tell us if you need it and we will switch it on.
Do we need a second terminal for collections?
Most sites use one. The collection counter runs on a second terminal at £14 a month so takeaway and dining room takings can be reported separately.
How are large party bills handled?
The terminal splits a bill by cover or by custom amount, so a party of twelve can pay across several cards without the server starting again.
When does the money arrive?
The next working day. Friday and Saturday trade lands on the following working day rather than sitting over the weekend.
Is Amex included?
Amex is accepted and priced separately from Visa and Mastercard. You can decide whether to enable it for your site.
